So i thought as i am studying in Innsbruck, I really have to write about this amazing city surrounded by its mountain chains. As I do love food, this blog was the easiest thing to write and if you want some good insider tips for nice restaurants you should really have a look at my recommendations. I rated all the restaurants from 3rd to 1st place !
Coffee and cake much needed:
3. Strudel Cafe, if you search the strudel heaven you have to come to Innsbruck. Every kind of Strudel you will find it here from poppy seeds, pumpkin, nuts, to the classical apple one.
2. Verenas, a small nice cafe with vegan cakes. You just have to try their various fresh, soft baked cakes. Nothing more to say, just try it out.

1. Haepinest, this one is located on the other side of the Inn and you can take a nice walk along it
to reach this coffee. For Breakfast this is a must do as they offer avocado toast, chia pudding and so much more. A must try are their vegan cakes, brownies, … Not just that it is one of the only coffees that offers matcha and chai lattes.
Brunch with the girls for gossiping:
3. Wilten, Brunch & Bar, they already prepared brunch plates and you can choose for what you wanna go. They have for every taste something with prosecco, veggie and so on. You should try one with their homemade spreads as the hummus or avocado ones.
2. Haepinest, it made it again on the List as it not just overs cakes but also vegan breakfast options as Chia pudding, Avocado toast and all the Bali breakfast stuff.
1. Marie’s Brunch, from bowls, bagels to porridge they have every breakfast options. All is so nicely arranged and really looks for sure good on everyones instagram. The only thing it is not in the center but easily reachable with bus and tram.
Cheap, simple and good, as we all love it as students:
3. My indigo, in Innsbruck there are 3 my Indigos located. All have nice bowls, curry and noodle bowls with an asian touch. It just made it on place 3 as it is really price compared to the other twos.
2. Machete, if you search for a nice hipster atmosphere this is your place. You will mostly meet students and can make some new contacts. You can design your own burrito here
with meat or meat alternatives. And this for an incredible
price of 7 Euros!

1. Mundvoll, for me the the price fits perfectly for what you are getting and it is all freshman and healthy. Their vegan curry with a side salad for 8 Euros is always my highlight of the break.
If you search the Bali vibe:
3. Himal, for a new food experience you should try the Nepalese and Himal food here. Their Naan bread and Curries really remembered me of the Indian food, but it really has something more special.

2. Bonsai, if you are into sushi as I am this is the best one in my opinion. The most famous one is Sensei, located in the shopping centre of course also the most pricey one and for that not the quality as one expect for this price.
1. Woosabi, if you love Bali as I do you can not miss this out. From Poke Bowls to Bat Bun Burgers they over a lot and the restaurant gives you tropical vibes.
It’s vegan babe:
3. Green Flamingo, all food is vegan here. form vegan burger, red beet falafels and spring roles you will find for sure the right thing. Also many burgers are soy free !

2. Woosabi, yes again as it has so many options with tofu I can really recommend it for vegans and vegetarians as well.
1. Olive, high quality and sustainability is first place in. This restaurant. Their ambience is so familiar and friendly. Everything is plant based and all homemade. Really nice are their burgers as the pumpkin or zucchini walnut. Their menu always changes as the adapt to the seasonal availability of vegetables.
Planning a Cocktail night with Bar hopping:
2. Blaue Brigitte, this one is an attic bar with a wonderful cozy atmosphere. This one is cheaper than liquid diary but also offers you good drinks and friendly service. Here you will meet more students and young people.

1. Liquid Diary, I fell in love with this bar and the friendly barkeepers. The ambient here is amazing and their self-made creations are 10 out of 10. Make sure you try their pornstar martini and their honey gin mix. Of course this bar has it’s price but it is worth it. We sat at the bar counter and could see how they mixed the cocktails for hours, so stunning.
Pizza, Pizza and the Italian vibe please:
3. Una Pizza, here you should try their neapolitan pizzas and delicious antipasti. A really famous and good listed pizzeria in Innsbruck.

2. Pizzerei, an almost whole menu about pizza creations and the with the availability to create your own pizza as you do like it, this will is the perfect restaurant for all pizza lovers.
1. Due Sicilie, here you get the authentic romantic southern Italian atmosphere, their staff is so friendly and besides that for sure you will get the best pizza in whole Innsbruck here.
Of course there are many more restaurants and I am for sure not done with trying new ones out, so I will keep you updated. If you try one out of this list and made other experience please tell me. I hope for the ones visiting or living in Innsbruck this is helpful and you enjoy the food. Much love!
